F N Walk 2024 Needs U

St Christopher’s provides end of life care to thousands of people in the community every year, supporting them and their families when they need it most. To do this, the charity needs to raise £16 million each year.

Fun Walk is open to walkers of all ages, from two to 102 (as well as their dogs!). It’s a brilliant opportunity to come together to support the local hospice, enjoy the spring countryside and help raise crucial funds.

Sunday 12th May is the big day and Keston Common the location. Entrance is just £15 per adult and £5 per child (under 18).

There’s a route to suit all walkers – with four walks ranging from three to 11 miles – and there’ll be plenty of family fun with food and drink stalls and entertainment, including music from Brit School students.

Debbie Slaughter, whose daughter Jennifer died aged just 27, always walks with a big team of family and friends, including her grandson William, aged 12.

“It’s just a lovely way to remember your loved one in the company of like-minded people while raising money for St Christopher’s. It’s very poignant, but it’s also a great fun day too.”
