19th July – April 2015: I Spy... Nature. Experience how scientists’ observations lead to new discoveries. A hands-on, family-friendly exhibition where you can try observing and recording nature. Learn how a Victorian naturalist sketched the natural world, or how scientists image objects in 3-D. Discover how insects view nature differently, or get up close with natural history objects under the microscope. Free exhibition.
2nd - 17th August: Propaganda Posters. 11am – 4pm. Take inspiration from First World War material to create a propaganda-style poster. Free.
Tuesdays – Fridays, 5th – 29th August: Landmarks in the Landscape. 10am – 12.30pm and 2 – 4pm. Pick up a family art activity from the Landscape Art Cart. Free.
