Gammon and Pineapple Melts

Ingredients (serves 2):

  • 2 English muffins, split
  • 4 tsp butter
  • 4 thick cut slices of ham
  • 4 slices Del Monte® Sliced Pineapple in Juice, drained
  • 2 good handfuls Red Leicester cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper, to season



  1. Preheat the grill to a medium heat and lightly toast the four muffin halves (both sides) under the grill.
  2. Butter each half, then top each with one slice of ham, one Del Monte® Pineapple slice and some grated cheese. Season well.
  3. Place under the hot grill until bubbling and golden.
