Every Sunday at 11.30am. The Sherwood Hideaway has teamed up with family-run falconry experts Go Active to launch amazing woodland hawk walks through Sherwood Forest. Guests on the forest adventure will fly Harris Hawks through the pine and birch trees of Sherwood Forest, and learn how to call the birds of prey back so they perch on your arm. All equipment, including your glove and hawking vest, is provided. Cost: £15 per person. Walks last for around one hour. All ages can take part. Please note that woodland hawk walks are weather dependent and may be cancelled in event of heavy rain and strong winds.
