A FUN and FREE way for young children to do what you ask

Like many carers I really struggled to get their attention while they were playing or watching Octonauts. They were so immersed, I couldn't get them to listen to a word I said.” He said. (Sound familiar?)

Then whenever they had to stop playing or watching TV because their meal was ready or it was time for school or bedtime, we’d have to take their toys away or switch things off. And then all hell would break loose!

The children knew what traffic lights were. I explained that EVERY ‘grown up’ in the world knows that red means stop, green means go. I then added that when the orange light shows, it means that something is going to change SOON. When the light goes to red – everything must stop.

Watch the videos below to make your own set of traffic lights.
