Life’s a beach at Lee Valley Park Farms
School holidays are the perfect time to visit Lee Valley Park Farms with the Oh I do like to be beside the farms event bringing the excitement of a Great British seaside holiday to the Essex countryside.
Between 26 July and 31 August there is a temporary beach in place at the popular tourist attraction with fun activities including sandcastle building competitions alongside the regular farmyard fun.
The whole family will enjoy meeting and making friends with the many animals who live at Lee Valley Park Farms including cuddly sheep, giant rabbits, rare breed pigs, long-necked llamas and a loveable meerkat family.
The indoor and outdoor play areas are great for kids to run around and explore and the tractor and trailer ride to the dairy farm adds that little bit more to a farm-tastic day out.
There’s also a toboggan run to enjoy sliding down in the sunshine.
The Orchard Café serves freshly prepared food with outdoor seating available in the sun on the wooden decking overlooking the valley.
