Fundraising Ideas
Due to rising school costs our school is looking for interesting fundraising ideas that the children can get involved in to make fundraising fun for both children and parents. Any ideas

Hi Lisa,
Firstly there's plants - does your school have a gardening club? Find out who's into plants, parents or grandparents, and ask them if they would donate eithers seeds or young plants.
If seeds are donated, all children can get involved with planting and nurturing them. If plants are donated, they can each take responsibility for one. Then at School Fete / Sports Day, have a stall selling your seedlings/ plants. Tomatoes are a good one to start with.
Then there's Chococholics - wonderful chocolates, and whoever hosts a party gets commission, which then can go to the school.

Hi Lisa,
Our School has undertaken having "Rainbow" days when the kids wear a certain colour (ie red for a day around the Christmas holidays etc) to school. Each pupil brings in 2€ on the day to do this.
We are also doing a "gold rush" where each class room collects gold coins for a month and on a certain day these are all put out in a continuous winding path - the classroom with the longest part of the path gets a prize - we as a school raise almost 3k € doing this - not bad for a school of 150 pupils.
