Travel across Europe from your classroom with new EU Passport
Earlier today the latest edition of the EU Passport for primary schools was launched at European Union House. Pupils from the Kill O'the Grange National School were on hand to help Martin Territt, Director of the European Commission Representation launch this fun new resource that teaches pupils about all the 27 countries that make up the EU.
According to Mr Martin Territt, "The passport contains a range of interesting facts and figures about each of the 27 EU Member States and is an excellent source of information for children who want to learn about the European Union's capital cities, landmarks, famous people and national foods. The Passport is illustrated by acclaimed Irish cartoonist Terry Willers and also includes stickers of the 27 national flags as well as various games."
