Information for schools
You may use the information provided in the pages above with families and the wider community.
You might, for instance, decide to produce a photocopiable flyer to give to parents and carers based on the information we have provided, together with information relevant to your school context.
Please find below an example of a six-page foldable flyer, which you may wish to adapt for your own use. More examples will be added to this page as they become available.
National learning charity ContinYou (www.continyou.org.uk) delivers support for the roll-out of extended services in partnership with 4Children,The Training and Development Agency and working alongside Together for Children who manage the provision of Children’s Centres.
We help schools find ways of extending what they can do to improve the attainments and aspirations of pupils and members of the wider community. We do this by working with schools, education professionals, communities, parents and pupils to develop programmes and good practice.
ContinYou believes that learning transforms our life chances, our outlook and health, and our communities. It is one of the key ways in which we can change our lives. To that end it uses learning to tackle inequality and build social inclusion, creating learning programmes and services that offer fresh opportunities to people who have gained least from formal education and training.
