The RSPCA aims to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals. Its education service plays a leading role by supporting teachers to develop informed, responsible and active citizens and helping schools to be more animal-friendly.

The RSPCA’s education website www.rspca.org.uk/education offers free online tried and tested curriculum-linked resources written by teachers. There are more than 90 different lesson ideas with teacher and pupil factsheets, pupil activity sheets and engaging photos and pictures.

The website also has a range of lesson resources linked to the curriculum in Wales with English and Welsh language copiables.

In addition, it offers a free interactive resource for KS1 and 2 'Animals and us' – www.rspca-education.org.uk – linked to the English and Welsh national curricula. It's a visually stimulating resource for interactive whiteboard or PC that can be viewed in either English or Welsh.
