The site at http://www.dealsformums.co.uk is owned and run by Loren Nally, a mum herself, who gave up a career in ecommerce for a major blue chip company, to spend more time at home with her husband and two young children. Her many years experience in the world of online retail and marketing will benefit the overall aims of the site. It harnesses the strength of social channels within the core audience in order to grow loyalty and 'mumpower' in order to approach retailers themselves. The longer term goal is work with retailers to develop key offers that target UK mums specifically.

'We all know that it's the mums in the family who make the majority of purchasing decisions in a household, but I'm surprised at how little retailers seem to pay attention to this', says Loren.
