BRING THE WORLD TO LIFE AT HOME

Inspire your Children with Real Life Stories of Amazing People and Incredible Accomplishments

Do your children get excited by amazing feats of accomplishment? Do they love big facts that stretch the realm of possibility? Would they like the chance to meet real life record breakers, or even attempt a record themselves? This autumn children could have the chance to enjoy all of these opportunities, and more, with the launch of a new inspiring education programme from the Guinness World Records®, the global authority on record breaking achievements. For the first time parents and primary schools will be able to have free access to content rich information including a range of videos, photos, record breaking facts and figures that will illustrate the curriculum and engage children in a dynamic learning experience.

Imagine bringing to life design and technology with pictures of the great feats of engineering of our time, learning about the human body with stories of the tallest, smallest and hairiest humans on our planet and appreciating the world we live in by watching video accounts of man reaching the highest heights.

The free archive of materials and visual content is available from September on www.guinnessworldrecords.com/discover and helps parents enjoy the fun facts and stats with their children at home. The materials provided for schools and parents include quiz sheets and games to bring to life the real life experiences and help make learning fun and memorable.

Craig Glenday Editor-in-Chief of Guinness World Records comments; “Our research amongst parents and children shows that children thoroughly enjoy reading the Guinness World Records, excited by the entertaining content and parents are enthused by the fun method of conveying educational content. It feels like a natural step to be offering schools and parents free valuable content and offering a live experience for passionate children.”

The Guinness World Records LIVE School Event and Visit from the Tallest Man in the World

One lucky school registering for the programme will also have the chance to win a once in a life time experience by winning a Guinness World Record live event and be visited by the tallest man in the world! Not only will the pupils enjoy an educational session which celebrates amazing accomplishments and demonstrates that anything is possible, but they will also be able to participate in a record breaking attempt themselves and a chance to enter the famous records book.
