Seatbelts for NI school buses
All school buses in Northern Ireland are to be fitted with seatbelts to make
travel for pupils safer.
Over the next two years, 110 new buses will be introduced and the system of
seating three children in two seats will be phased out.
The launch of the new buses in the North comes on the second anniversary of
the Kentstown school bus crash in Co Meath in which five secondary pupils
were killed
