Summer events for Meningitis Research Foundation

The skies are clearing and summer is finally on the way. How better to celebrate and raise money for a good cause than by holding one of Meningitis Research Foundation’s fundraising events at your house, nursery or school?

Tiny Tots Tea on the Lawn is a new event combining an afternoon ofsummer activities for children with a tea party and cake sale that everyone can enjoy. We’ll send you a pack with recipes for delicious cakes and ideas for games and fancy dress costumes to ensure your tea party is the toast of the neighbourhood. You send us the profits from your cake sale and sponsored games.

Make Music With Marvin is a great way to keep children happy, if not quiet!  With the help of Marvin – the Foundation’s friendly monster – children will create their own musical instruments and play Marvin’s songs in a sponsored performance. We’ll send you a Make Music Pack containing instructions on how to make your own homemade instruments and songs to play in your sponsored concert.

Every completed sponsor form received before 31 August will be entered into a prize draw, whilst the performance that raises the most money will also win a prize.

The money you raise will help Meningitis Research Foundation continue it’s fight against meningitis and septicaemia – devastating diseases which can kill in hours and particularly affect the under-fives.

For more information or to request a Tiny Tots Tea on the Lawn or Make Music With Marvin pack, contact the Foundation’s fundraising team on 01454 281814 or email fundraising@meningitis.org
