The Primary Act is a specially designed talent contest for all of Ireland’s primary schools run by Kildare Company, T.N.T. events.  The special format is self funding so that while your school is involved in the contest they will be helping your school to raise much needed funds. The contest is open to all types of talented acts within your schools, from single singers to choirs, dancers to children playing an instrument, or any other type of talent your school has.

A brochure has already been sent to every school so just register as soon as possible online at www.primaryact.ie or fill in all sections of the form on the back of the brochure and send back. Each school runs a mini- talent show to find its top 3 acts – TNT provide the posters and tickets and can even run the event for you if required, supplying MC and sound equipment (small fee applies). Any ticket sales for school event goes directly to your school.

The competition will be run throughout 2011 with county heats and then all Ireland heats.  Any act involved in the heats receives a percentage of ticket sales, so, the longer your school acts stay in the contest, the more your acts make money for your school! The prize for the winning school is €10,000 and the winning acts also receive individual prizes. Also, the winning act’s chosen charity will receive €2000, and there is a €5000 holiday to give away in the free supporters draw. THE PRIMARY ACT 2011 is simply the greatest schools contest ever designed so get planning your school event!
