Recipes for Children's Meals

Strawberry Smoothie

What to find:

3-4 oranges

450g strawberries

1 banana (frozen)

150m natural yogurt

1 tbsp honey

Kitchen stuff:

Chopping board

Knife

Juice squeezer

Measuring jugs

Food processor / liquidiser

What to do:

Cut the oranges in half on a chopping board. Twist the oranges around a squeezer to get the juice out (about 200ml).

Hull the strawberries and chop them in half.

Put the strawberries, banana, honey (if possible keep don't add the honey to keep sugar intake down) and yogurt into a food processor and blend until smooth. Be careful with the frozen banana the machine may jump a little (banana must be chopped into small pieces before freezing).

Add enough orange juice to make your smoothie as thin as you want.

Make sure that your hands are dry before using the blender.

ALWAYS HAVE A GROWN UP IN THE KITCHEN WHEN YOU COOK
