Petmania - Supporting Responsible Pet Ownership

Who are Petmania?

Petmania is a one stop shop devoted exclusively to pets, pet foods and accessories for all your pets needs. Before launching Petmania, the team researched Pet Stores around the world to offer pet-lovers the very best in exciting new products, pet accessories and pet display units, focusing on providing what pet-lovers want.

What do Petmania do?

Petmania import from America and the U.K., state-of-the-art display units for birds and small animals specially designed by the Petmania team. These air-conditioned units are the first of their kind in Ireland or England. Due to demand, Petmania will have an expanded range of coldwater and tropical fish and will offer larger fish tanks and aquariums, which are becoming increasingly popular in many homes. We in Petmania pride ourselves on friendly, expert advice on everything pet-related. Petmania at a school near you!

Petmania have recently started to visit various primary schools with a selection of animals and educate the children on how important it is to research all about pet’s if they are planning to own one. Our Team will then get all the children to do a work sheet on a day in the life of my pet. In this work sheet the children must put in how to feed, exercise and clean a pet. The children draw a lovely picture for us and on completion of their worksheet they receive a Petmania Certificate on their Achievement for learning about animals and their welfare.

If you would like to get your school involved please ring the Petmania support office on 056 7797910 and we will put you in touch with your Local store to arrange visits.

Petmania’s advice on being a responsible Pet Owner!

1) Think of the time and commitment that the animal requires and see if it suits your lifestyle.

2) Think about the space the animal needs and see if you have that space.

3) Pet ownership is a long term commitment the welfare of the animal is your responsibility.

4) Do some research on the animal first and see what requirements it needs.

5) Remember the golden Rule: A Pet is for life it’s not just a toy!
