The Cormac Trust was set up after the sudden death of Tyrone GAA star

Cormac McAnallen in March 2004. To raise awareness of sudden cardiac deaths in young people, and its causes; To provide automated external defibrillators (AEDs) for sports clubs locally and to train people in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of defibrillators.

‘A great deal for everyone and we’d like to give any group in Ireland the opportunity of owning a defibrillator. This recycling initiative will assist any organization, with obvious benefits to the environment by preventing the pollution caused by discarding old phones into landfills. It is estimated that there are millions of old unwanted phones in Irish households. We are committed to making life saving equipment accessible to all. Registering is easy, log onto www.fones4life.ie for further details’ Rob Roe Heartsafety Solutions

Motivated groups like ‘St Nichloas’ GFC in association with Fones4life.ie and Heartsafety Solutions are collecting old used mobile phones. When we reach our target we can then exchange them for a Defibrillator, and training for 6 club members. Defibrillators are essential in all GAA clubs’ said Alan Gregor from St Nichloas’ Gaelic Football Club

Proven in rescue, Irish defibrillators save Irish lives. Callsave fones4life.ie 1850432787.
