1.       When the world was thought to be flat, Dragons were said to be at the edge of earth waiting to eat any one who dared to sail that far into the ocean.

2.       A Dragon’s breath was poisonous just one puff could kill a man.

3.       Some slayers kept the heads and tails of Dragons they had killed to show their bravery.

4.       The dragon is the keeper of some treasure, either precious jewels or a maiden in despair. A knight must come to rescue the girl, or to retrieve the riches. To do this he must slay the dragon.
