One Stop Therapy

One Stop Therapy is a Counselling Service based in Twickenham which offers individual, group and family counselling as well as play therapy for the younger ones.

Recently One Stop Therapy has developed its Dads Unlimited Programme, which aims to build close and lasting relationships for fathers and their children aged 0-5yrs (they work with older children as well). The programme provides opportunities for Dads to be with their children and get involved in exciting and creative activities, encouraging them in their abilities to relate positively to their children through play. The aim of the programme is to enhance the Dads’ understanding of the developmental and emotional needs of their children, aiming to equip them with specific skills and the acquisition of knowledge to help foster competent parenting.

One Stop Therapy aims to do this in a reflective, supportive and structured environment. They deliver their play programme in conjunction with their Dads’ Unlimited Parenting Programme enabling Dads to put into practice what they learn in a safe non judgmental environment. The Play Programme helps them to understand why some Dads find it difficult to play with their children and what they can give to their child.
