Samba school brings the RIO party to Westfield London
To celebrate the release of the all-singing, all-dancing animated adventure RIO on Blu-ray Triple Play and DVD, Westfield London hosted a fantastic ‘Half-Term Samba School’ for families on 24 October 2011. Held in association with national Parents Week 2011, Strictly Come Dancing stars Camilla Dallerup and Ian Waite will be leading a series of Samba workshops suitable for parents and kids alike, beginning at 11.30am. Families were encouraged to join the party at Westfield London for a chance to have fun and dance together to RIO’s Samba beats.
Parents Week 2011 provides an opportunity to celebrate the contribution of parents to family life in the UK. Fitting in with this year’s theme of Family Friendly, the Half-Term Samba School aims to help parentsand children have fun together by engaging in the Samba rhythms and party atmosphere of RIO. Visit the www.parentsweek.org.uk for more information about National Parents Week which is run by independent charity The Family and Parenting Institute.
