Dragon Swoops in on Croydon

A large dragon has arrived at World of Golf Croydon, as work begins on the £500,000 Dragon Quest Encounter - Croydon's first 18-hole Adventure Golf Course. The site is due to open to families this summer, after a 12 week build.   Dragon Quest Encounter will be the first adventure golf course in the area and will be available to all ages and abilities. It is hoped that the attraction will encourage children and parents to take up the sport and enjoy quality time together.

World of Golf's CEO, Grant Wright told us, “Dragon Quest Encounter, which will be based at World of Golf Croydon, will be a fantastic day out for all the family and will provide a much-needed family attraction in the area.  We are certain that the site will create many happy memories and enjoyment for families and we can't wait to unveil it. The Adventure Golf course will be ready for the middle of the summer and will be a great addition to the driving range that we already have on site.”

The course is being built on disused land adjacent to the World of Golf driving range and will include dragons, Knights, a castle turret and a large waterfall.  For regular updates about the build, visit www.worldofgolf.co.uk
