UBISOFT® GIVES GIRL THE CHANCE TO LIVE HER DREAMS AND STAR IN HER OWN TV ADVERT!

 

To celebrate the release of the latest Nintendo DS games in the Imagine range, Ubisoft gave Courtney Poyntz, aged 13 from Barrow-In-Furness in Cumbria, the chance to live her dream and win the ultimate prize – to have her dream turned into a 3 minute TV advert!

Courtney’s dream was to be a fashion designer with a twist as she wanted to learn how to make clothes from recycled materials. Courtney’s dream beat entries from over 9,000 girls around the UK. She was offered the chance to live her dream for a day and work with leading fashion designer Nin Castle of Goodone clothing, a company which designs innovative, quality, one-off clothing made from hand-picked, locally-sourced, recycled fabrics. With Nin’s help, Courtney designed and created her very own stylish top out of a variety of second hand fabrics and materials.

With her own film crew, stylist and make-up artist, Courtney was given the celebrity treatment for the day. Courtney said, “It was amazing to meet Nin and find out how I can create the latest fashions out of my old clothes and being filmed for a TV advert was so exciting – I can’t wait to see it!”

The TV advert of Courtney living her dream will air on CITV and Nickelodeon during the ad breaks between 9.30 and 11.30am on Saturday 12th December.

Aimed at girls aged 8-12 years, Imagine is a range of games that encourages young girls to use their imagination, expand their creativity and live their dreams. The latest games in the range, Imagine Detective Adventures, Imagine Teacher School Trip, Imagine Party Planner and Imagine Beauty Stylist are available to buy now in time for Christmas!
