STARS OF THE CBBC SHOW JINX PROVE THEY HAVE THE JINX FACTOR WITH THE RELEASE OF A NEW SONG ON ITUNES
Calling all fans of the hit CBBC show, Jinx, the two lead characters are giving all you all a delicious treat with the release of their brand new single, ‘Friday (Takes Me Away)’ - so not only is Jinx jam-packed with magical mayhem and outlandish antics – it now has its very own single! Lead actors Amber Beattie (The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas) and Gia Lodge O’Meally, who play best friends Lulu and Frenchy, have recorded the super catchy song after it featured in one of the episodes from the show. This exclusive song will be available on iTunes from 1 March 2010.
The song is featured in the fun-filled episode Minty Freshman, where Lulu discovers Frenchy is a closet singer/songwriter and enters her for the school talent contest. Lulu and Frenchy are due to perform Frenchy’s song ‘Friday (Takes Me Away)’ together on the night, but when one of Cookie’s spells goes wrong, Lulu ends up performing alone in front of the whole school! The teen stars of the show, Amber and Gia had so much fun singing together and rehearsing the song that they decided to record the track to make their very own single, and now you can get your hands on it!
