Howletts Wild Animal Park
The Aspinall Foundation’s Howletts Wild Animal Park near Canterbury in Kent is a wild family adventure where education, conservation and fun combine. Visitors can walk among the resident family of lively lemurs, enjoy an unforgettable close encounter at the glass fronted tiger enclosures and see the biggest collection of Western Lowland gorillas in human care in the world.
New for 2011, Howletts has launched its Howletts Passport. With the Passport you can enjoy the park all year round for the price of just one standard entry ticket. For just £19.95 for an adult and £15.95 for a child you will get free entry to Howletts for an amazing twelve months. There are different events every month to keep you entertained. In July they have ‘Howletts Worldwide’ and in August, ‘Ape Month’.
The Aspinall Foundation charity works in conjunction with Port Lympne, Howletts’ sister park, which began a million pound redevelopment scheme at the end of 2010. The Safari has been made integral to the experience and transports visitors between four key on-foot zones. In these zones you can discover conservation first hand with key exhibits and exciting interactive educational displays. |
