Travel expert Craig Doyle Reveals His Top Holiday Hotspots for 2012
Glamping is passé and staycations are yesterday’s news. ‘Thrillaxing’ - relaxing through getting active while on holiday - is the next big thing for travel trendsetters with a survey, commissioned by new website iExplore, revealing that just over half of UK holidaymakers have already ‘thrillaxed’ this year.
With two thirds of UK holidaymakers surveyed believing that choosing a more adventurous trip is the key to escaping the stresses of their day-to-day lives, and 75% finding that keeping active abroad helps take their minds off what’s happening at home and in the office, it’s clear that Brits are looking for a bit more from their holidays.
One man who has had his fair share of adventures is TV presenter, former ‘Holiday’ front man and seasoned traveller Craig Doyle who has listed his top five active holidays for 2012 for those looking for something a little bit different: Watch his video here.
