Easter Camps in Edinburgh

Childcare solutions for parents during the school holidays can be a bit of a headache especially if you’ve pulled in all the favors from friends and relatives to cover the February break.

There are plenty of camps running over the Easter holidays that offer high quality care and an emphasis on fun! Even if camps are just to keep the children occupied beyond some family time together.

Together the camp, activity and workshop providers make for a brilliant programme of choice across town with a huge range of activities that can truly claim to offer something for everyone!

An opportunity to learn a new skill or enjoy a favourite hobby such as football, drama or arts & crafts. Once the bunny has been and you’ve scoffed all of your choccies make way for some sports and multi-activity camps to work off the sugar rush….

Early Birdie

The early bird catches the …. Best rates. Not only are holiday club places limited but there’s savings to be made by planning ahead too. Early bird offers can save you as much as 20% on a typical weekly childcare cost. By booking children into clubs for the full week some offer five days for the price of four.

More value childcare can only be a few clicks away. Some clubs offer an early drop-off and a late pick-up. Spaces for this extended childcare will also be limited, so get in early!

Do Your Background Research

It should be all about fun but to ensure the safety of your child and quality of staff, check for your holiday care provider’s registration with the Care Inspectorate and that staff are appropriately disclosure checked. If children are to attend camp all day they will be expected to bring along a packed lunch.

If the club is providing morning and afternoon snacks and drinks, then strictly speaking, they should be registered as a “food business” if serving any kind of food in the club setting.
