It’s 2012!
And what a year this promises to be! Packed with major sporting events such as London 2012 and Euro 2012 plus the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in June, there is plenty of reason for the children to party! On the subject of children’s parties remember to look out for the February Half Term issue of Primary Times as there will be a special pull out and keep Party Guide filled with birthday party ideas, party venues, children’s party entertainers, party invitation ideas, party bags and party games!
Aside from the many good reasons to party, many family attractions, towns and villages are sure to embrace the Olympic spirit and host a number of sporting events and activities for children - plus there will be plenty of kids sports and cool games planned too.
I hope you all continue to enjoy reading Primary Times this year, we have some great features planned in 2012 and do keep sending in your excellent feedback.

Helen O'GradySo, another new academic year is in full swing with new students taking part in our positive, confidence building original drama classes. I place emphasis on the word original as Helen O'Grady was one of the first, and is now one of the longest running, drama academies worldwide, in its 32nd year! Over the years we have seen many similar drama classes come and go claiming to build confidence and self-esteem and also to teach children theatre skills. However, the great feedback we receive from many parents, who have shopped around, is that we are one of the best and most affordable programmes! So how can that be so? Being the Joint Principal in the North London branch for over 7 years and a previous Helen O'Grady teacher for the Academy for a further 3 years, during which time I was also teaching for other leading drama academies and stage schools, I chose to dedicate my time only to Helen O'Grady as I was witness to the developmental progression of many of my students through our unique curriculum. It is so important at this unsettled time of financial upheaval that parents are able to see the results of their hard earned money in the classes to which they enrol their children. Because our curriculum has been constantly improved and updated for more than 30 years we feel we are particularly well equipped to achieve the results that our parents are looking for when they enrol their children. Whether it be increased confidence, improved speech and vocal ability or higher levels of concentration, Helen O’Grady can help your child develop in these areas, as well as learning professional acting skills! To enrol your child and find out more please call 0208 360 4020.
