Welcome to the regional home page of Primary Times Glasgow & West of Scotland. Primary Times magazine is a what's on guide for families with primary school aged children.
We are kicking off 2012 with our February issue, which is published on 6th February filled with fun activities for children including days out and after school activities. We also have features on Sport Relief and of course our annual Party Pullout Guide - the ultimate guide for planning children's parties. Our Party Planner on the website also includes everything you'll need, from party venues and party ideas to children's entertainers - some of whom even provide the party bags, party games and party invitations!
We also have the usual competitions and news stories for you as well as our Bookworm page. So there's lots for you to see and do with Primary Times.

Sticky Kids: The Funky Monkey Sing-a-long Show
Suitable for 2-6 years. Join Molly Muddle and her good friend Old Macdonald to sing along with your favourite Sticky Kids songs and join in with the actions. Lots of slapstick humour, audience participation and fun guaranteed as Molly and Old Macdonald entertain you with their hilarious mishaps. 11am.

Suitable for parents and babies. Have fun with your baby while sharing, playing and learning. Simple songs, games and ideas for shared play. Remember babies love to learn as babies love to play. 12pm & 2pm.
Badger the Mystical Mutt
Suitable for 5-8 years. Glasgow authors McNicol & Jackson have created a charming new book character, a toast-crunching hound named Badger. Can Badger help his spaniel pal Hamish win ‘Pet Idol’, or will ‘Top Dog’ and his gang of strays stop him? Meet the star of the book, Badger himself, at this magical event. 1pm.
The Gallus Glesga Quiz!
Suitable for family teams (9 + years). Think you know about Glasgow? Pit your wits in our multimedia family quiz on all things ‘Dear Green Place’. Will you be a stoater or a numpty?! 2pm.

Fun with Kipper
Suitable for 3-5 years. Kipper the adorable, mischievous pup is a picture book favourite. Join us for some furry fun, with stories, crafts and a lovely Kipper gift to take away. 11am.
Fairy Tale Twists
Suitable for 5 - 8 years. Join us for fairy tales with a difference, featuring The Not So Evil Stepmother, The Big Bad Werewolf and more. Have a go at twisting your own fairy tales, and then it’s ‘eyes down’ for our very special fairy tale bingo! Prizes! 2pm.
Monster Mayhem
Suitable for 9 -12 years. Fiendishly frightening fun guaranteed as you take a walk down ‘Scream Street’, then give yourself ‘Goosebumps’ with some spine-chilling activities. With prizes for the best dressed monsters, it’s sure to be a Hoowwwwlllll! 2pm.

Little Mouse
Suitable for 3 -6 years. Little Mouse can waddle like a penguin, eat like a horse and splash like a whale. So why does her mother call her Little Mouse? Join author Alison Murray for some storytelling and animal mask making - which animal will you be?12pm.
Animal Carnival
Suitable for 5- 8 years. Whether you’re as shy as a mouse or as brave as a lion, enjoy a roaring time of animal-themed stories, crafts and games. Plus, can you tell your paws from your claws with our crazy creatures quiz! It’ll be grrrrrreat!! 12pm.

Young Sherlock
Suitable for 9-12 years. Calling all young investigators! Solve the puzzles to unmask the true criminal in this ‘Young Sherlock Holmes’ inspired adventure game, full of twists and turns. It’s elementary my dear readers! 2pm.

Little Howard's BIG Show
The nation’s favourite human-cartoon double act find themselves in trouble with the Queen following their performance on The Royal Variety Show. The Great Comical Characters Workshop
