ECOMIKI4KIDS - The fun online world that teaches kids about the environment

Ecomiki4kids is an animated online gaming world for three to 9 year olds that has an educational and environmental twist.  Olar the Polar and a cast of colourful characters teach children about the environment through games, puzzles and activities.  Uniquely the site is completely safe for children to play on with no advertising or access to the web.

Ecomiki4kids members travel through the Arctic or the Rainforest having adventures with Olar the Polar and his friends and learn about the environment by playing over 120 fun online games, puzzles and activities that inform and teach children about environmental issues.  There are also loads of activities that children can do offline too while learning about how to be environmentally aware and saving the planet.

Ecomiki4kids.com is the brainchild of sisters and mums Claire Guest and Rachel Saunders who came up with the idea of creating a safe place for kids to play online while learning about the environment, something they are both passionate about. The site combines the three core elements of any successful children’s website, fun, safety and education.

“Children are creative, inquisitive and love learning. They love to play online games but, in our experience as parents of small children, we were unable to find suitable websites which communicated the message of protecting the planet and included fun games and other educational tools. We decided that there was a need for a website where young children could play games and learn about their world in a safe environment, away from the messages and advertising associated with websites which are aimed at older children or adults, somewhere that we'd be happy for our own children to spend time”, comments Guest, co-founder of Ecomiki4kids.com.

Ecomiki4kids.com is a member’s only website.  There are a number of free games online but children can pay a monthly subscription of £3.50 a month, £9.50 for three months, and £17.50 for six months and £33.50 for a year for access to the whole site.
