GOLDEN GLOBE nominee Ewan McGregor (Star Wars, Moulin Rouge, The Island) stars in Deception as a beleaguered accountant who unwittingly  finds himself engaged in the steamy underground culture of New York’s exclusive sex club The List.  A sensual, psychological thriller, Deception is now set to excite viewers at home as Entertainment in Video announces that the title will be released on DVD to rent on 11th August and buy on 25th August. 

Deception is director Marcel Langegger’s feature-film debut and the film boasts an impressive supporting cast including Golden Globe nominee Hugh Jackman (X-Men, The Fountain, Kate and Leopold) and the fast-rising actress and Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams (Brokeback Mountain). 

Jonathon McQuarry (Ewan McGregor) is a busy accountant who barely has enough time for himself, let alone for relationships and women, but after a chance meeting with the charismatic but mysterious lawyer Wyatt Bose (Hugh Jackman), all of that changes.

Wyatt introduces Jonathon to the playgrounds of Manhattan’s wealthy and in particular to The List, New York’s hottest sex club which boasts ‘intimacy without intricacy’. But following a passionate affair with a mysterious woman known only to Jonathon as ‘S’ (Michelle Williams), The List drags Jonathon into a world that is anything but casual – a world of deception, treachery and murder from which Jonathon needs to escape as quickly as he can.

Deception has a 15 certificate and a running time of approximately 110 minutes.
