Win a copy of Big Barn Farm on DVD
CBeebies’ new hit show for preschoolers, where real life ‘talking’ animals have farmyard adventures centred around playing, learning, discovering and mischief.
Petal the piglet, the embodiment of girl piglet-power; Gobo the goat, enthusiastic, inventive and greedy; Dash the donkey, thoughtful, kind (and easily the tallest of the gang) and Digger the Labrador pup, not the brightest dog in the litter but very very cute, are all loveable characters you will find on Big Barn Farm.
Featuring real working animals on a real working farm, Big Barn Farm follows the day-to-day adventures of these and all the other farmyard animals using a combination of live action and animation that lends the series its distinctive character and humour and taps into a children's love of animals in a truly unique way.
Their adventures on the farm revolve around their emotions and the situations they find themselves in. As the Farmyard Bunch explore the day to day routine of life on a farm, so they play, discover and have fun. As the storylines are from the young animals’ point of view there is as much importance placed on whether the farmer has forgotten feeding time as where’s the best place to hide in a game of hide & seek. In each adventure the Farmyard Bunch explore their friendships and role on the farm. They can be cheeky, often get up to mischief and find themselves in tricky situations.
But as a foursome they always find a solution and learn something along the way. The Farmyard Bunch aren’t alone on the farm. There are the duck girls who live noisily on the pond; the gossipy Mrs Chickens; a very tall horse called Mack; a flock of wilful sheep and the purr-fectly charming Mrs Paws the cat.
Produced by RDF Kids, headed up by Nigel Pickard, this charming CBeebies favourite will be available to buy on DVD for the first time, priced £12.99.
