Discovering your clothes have shrunk in the wash is something we can all relate to. According to the Love Your Clothes campaign, 31% of us are no longer wearing clothes from our wardrobes because we’ve washed, dried or ironed them incorrectly.
In fact, 39 million items of clothes have not been worn in the past year because we’ve not followed the care label.
Only 9% of UK adults can identify more than half of the 25 common care symbols that regularly appear on the labels in our clothes.
