Andy Day, star of the CBeebies show, ‘Andy’s Dinosaur Adventures’ has launched his first album of children’s songs in collaboration with music producer pals Rob and Dan from Bunkersonix, the team behind many of the CBeebies and CBBC theme tunes.
Titled, ‘Who Invited this Lot’, and performed by Andy and his band, ‘Andy and the Odd Socks’, the 11 tracks are fantastically creative. Comic influences such as Spike Milligan and the Mighty Boosh are mixed with storytelling classics like Jackanory which play out through a broad range of musical styles …all finished off with a large dollop of tongue in cheek!
The album has been created to fill that gap from ages 6 to 10 where children have to jump from nursery rhymes straight into adult pop, but can also be enjoyed by younger children and adults as well.
