Weekends only 8th -30th November: Fire & Light. Find out how the fire triangle can help us safely extinguish fires and also make exhilarating science demonstrations. See spontaneously erupting flames, money burning and an amazing tornado of fire. See green, purple and pink flames and learn about the science of fireworks.
Weekends only 18th & 19th October & 8th - 30th November: Lights in the Sky. Shooting stars, planets, rainbows and more! Look up into the night sky to explore the many lights that have fascinated humans for centuries. Discover their origins, from nearby satellites to distant stars, and find out which lights in the sky you can see from your own back garden. If you’re lucky you may even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights! Suitable for over 7s.
Weekends only 8th - 30th November: Pawprints in the Winter Sky. Help Izzy take a tour of the night sky as she learns about the animals that you can find amongst the stars. Depending on the season, see what animals you can find. It might be a bull, a lion, a dragon or a winged horse! Suitable for under 7s
